Tunis/Tunisia — No less than 185 judokas from 23 countries are expected at the Tunis Seniors International Open (men and women) to be held on March 12 and 13 in Radés, the Tunisian Judo Federation (FTJ) announced on Tuesday.
The event will resume after a three-year hiatus induced by COVID-19, FTJ President Skander Hachicha told a press conference.
Participating countries are Tunisia, Algeria, Bahrain, Burkina Faso, Central African Republic, Chad, DR Congo, Colombia, Djibouti, France, Gabon, Guinea, Kenya, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Morocco, Malta, Niger, New Zealand, Senegal, Tajikistan, United Arab Emirates and the United States.
Tunisia will be represented by 49 judokas (27 men and 22 women. They are:
